NFL Network to broadcast Packers-Bengals preseason game on Aug.  11

NFL Network will broadcast Jordan Love’s preseason debut against the Cincinnati Bengals to a live national audience.

The Green Bay Packers’ preseason opener against the Bengals on Friday, Aug. 11 is one of 23 preseason games that will be broadcast live on the NFL Network this summer. The game is scheduled for a 6:00 pm CT kickoff from Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati.

Barring injury or unforeseen circumstance, the game will mark Love’s first appearance as the new starting quarterback of the Packers.

The Packers will hold a joint practice with the Bengals on the Wednesday before the Friday preseason game in Cincinnati.

NFL Network will also carry the New York Jets’ first preseason game of the season on Saturday, Aug. 12, although it’s unclear if Aaron Rodgers or any of the other former Packers now in New York will appear during the exhibition slate.

The Packers TV Network will show the team’s preseason games against the New England Patriots on Aug. 19 and Seattle Seahawks on Aug. 26 to a local audience.

The Packers open the regular season against the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Sunday, Sept. 10.
